Karen Pollard

Karen Pollard is a dedicated mental health advocate with extensive experience in project leadership and education. They served as Principal at Karen Pollard LLC from 2016 to 2021 and held the role of Director and Visiting Assistant Professor at The University of the Arts from 2017 to 2021. They also worked as Project Lead at both the Science Museum of Minnesota and NISE Network from 2007 to 2016 and 2007 to 2010, respectively, and contributed as Exhibit Project Manager at the National Constitution Center from 2000 to 2004. Currently, they are the Assistant Director at Mathnasium - The Math Learning Center and a Standardized Patient at the University of Minnesota, while also acting at the Barbara Schneider Foundation. Karen is pursuing a Master’s degree at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, following a BA from Virginia Wesleyan College and an MFA from the University of the Arts.
