School Improvement Consultant at Maths Pathway

Liam Jones started their work experience in 2002 as an Acting Faculty Administrator/Faculty Assistant at Central Queensland University. Liam then worked as a Teacher of Mathematics at Croydon Secondary College from 2004 to 2006. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as an Assistant Language Teacher through the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme. In 2009, they had an internship as a Research Analyst at NBC Capital and also worked as a Casual Relief Teacher at various schools. In 2010, they joined Bendigo and Adelaide Bank as a Customer Relationship Officer, where they managed calling programs, resolved complaints, and exceeded customer expectations. Liam later became a Branch Manager at the same bank from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, they briefly worked as a Home Finance Manager at Westpac. In 2015, they worked as a Communications Manager at MediSecure and then became a Teacher of Mathematics at Marymede Catholic College from 2015 to 2016. Since 2017, they have been working as a School Improvement Consultant at Maths Pathway.

Liam Jones completed their education at two universities. In 1996, they began their studies at The University of Queensland, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with a focus on Mathematics, Physics, Organisational Psychology, and Computer Science. Liam successfully completed their degree in 2000. Then, in 2003, Liam attended the University of Melbourne, where they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Education (DipEd) with a concentration in Mathematics, specifically in Core and Additional areas. Additionally, in February 2016, they obtained a TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from Inspire Education Pty Ltd.
