MathsCity is an interactive discovery centre in the heart of Leeds city centre, launched by the charity MathsWorldUK, thanks to significant investment from LeedsBID, CIVA, and Trinity Leeds.

The mathematical wonderland encourages everyone to practise being curious as they explore, discover, and solve. Visitors can escape into the fascinating world of maths exploration with over 40 interactive exhibits, including a giant bubble and kaleidoscope, a laser ring of fire, and a variety of hands-on puzzles. 

It has been designed to give everyone, regardless of age and background, the opportunity to access playful maths learning in a fun and supported environment.

It's already proven to be a popular visitor attraction as well as an ideal destination for school trips. 

Our ultimate mission is to create a permanent world-class visitor attraction with the UK’s first Mathematics Discovery Centre. MathsCity is the first step towards realising this goal.
