Jonathan Templin's work experience begins in 2013 when they worked as a Casual Relief Teacher at anzuk Education. In 2014, they joined Northcote High School as a Mathematics Teacher and stayed until 2018. During this time, they gained teaching experience. In 2018, Jonathan joined Mathspace as a Canadian Schools Liaison before moving on to become a Customer Account Manager for Canada, North-East, and Midwest US. In this role, they managed and supported school and district-level customers, implemented systems to improve sales team efficiencies, and worked through the implementation and purchase process. In 2022, they took on the role of Global Sales Operations Manager at Mathspace and later was promoted to Head of Sales - North America.

Jonathan Templin completed their Bachelor of Mathematics (BMath) - Honours degree in Mathematics Teacher Education at the University of Waterloo from 2008 to 2013. Jonathan then pursued a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching at Queen's University from 2011 to 2012. In addition to their academic qualifications, Jonathan also obtained several certifications, including the HubSpot Sales Software Certification, Inbound Sales Certification, Revenue Operations Certification, and HubSpot Marketing Software Certification from HubSpot Academy. Jonathan achieved the Level 4: Clever Champion Certification from Clever Inc. Moreover, Jonathan obtained the Ontario Certified Teacher - Intermediate and Senior Mathematics and Computer Science certification from the Ontario College of Teachers in 2015.
