Aadil Islam

Aadil Islam is a software engineer at MathWorks since August 2022, contributing to the Engineering Development Group. Previous experience includes serving as an AI/ML instructor at Inspirit AI, where Aadil guided high school students in machine learning applications focused on mental health chatbots and object detection algorithms. Aadil has interned at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, developing algorithms for object detection and face clustering, and also creating models for fake news detection and document classification. Academic roles include teaching assistant positions at Dartmouth College and tutoring at the Russian School of Mathematics. Aadil holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Dartmouth College, as well as a high school education from Burlington High School and studies at Harvard Extension School.
