Ajay Puvvala

Ajay Puvvala has extensive work experience in various engineering and management roles.

Ajay is currently a Principal Engineer at MathWorks since 2022.

Before that, they worked at Bay State Learning Center from 2018 onwards, serving as a Mentor, Director of STEM, and Operations.

In 2020, Ajay joined Motional as an Engineering Team Lead and Manager for Test Infrastructure Software until 2022.

From 2018 to 2019, they worked at Pegasystems as a Senior Manager and Manager for Test Tools & Infrastructure. Ajay also held the position of Senior Software Development Engineer Test during that time.

Prior to Pegasystems, Ajay worked at The MathWorks from 2013 to 2017, starting as a Senior Software Engineer and later becoming a Senior Team Lead for Design Automation Test Infrastructure & Architecture.

Additionally, they worked at AIR Worldwide as a Principal SQA Engineer in 2013.

At The MathWorks, Inc, Ajay held several positions from 2004 to 2012, including Testing Infrastructure and Architecture Engineer, DSP HW Quality Engineer, and Application Support Engineer.

Ajay started their career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Northern Illinois University in 2003, specializing in Computational Mathematics.
