Ben Mohankumar

Ben Mohankumar is a Senior Application Engineer at MathWorks, specializing in collaborating with Aerospace engineering companies across Europe to tackle technical and business challenges using MATLAB and Simulink. Prior to this role, Ben spent nearly a decade at Rolls-Royce, where contributions included leading aerodynamics efforts on a novel cargo aircraft engine re-use programme and overseeing critical rig tests for the UltraFan engine. Additionally, Ben's early career included a graduate role at Rolls-Royce, supporting the Trent XWB-84 engine launch, and a volunteer position at AFRINSPIRE designing a solar-powered education center in Uganda. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and an MEng in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Manchester.
