Brett Shoelson

Principal Application Engineer at Mathworks

Brett Shoelson began their work experience in 2002 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School. Brett then joined the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in 2002 and later transitioned to the role of Senior Research Fellow from 2004 to 2005. In 2005, Brett joined The MathWorks as a Principal Application Engineer, where they specialized in image processing and computer vision. Their responsibilities included developing algorithms and utilizing deep learning-based models.

Brett Shoelson completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at Tulane University from 1995 to 2000. Following this, they pursued postdoctoral education in Retinal blood flow quantification at Harvard Medical School from 2000 to 2002.
