Chris Hendrick

Chris Hendrick is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in cloud engineering and hosting services. Currently serving as Director of IT Hosting at MathWorks since October 2018, Chris is responsible for the enterprise migration to public cloud services and leads a global team focused on modernizing IT architectures. Prior to this role, Chris held positions at Dell EMC, including Senior Manager for Cloud Engineering, where leadership of a global team facilitated significant cloud service expansions. Earlier experience includes extensive roles at Genzyme Corporation, where management of large teams and service delivery in application hosting were key responsibilities. Chris holds a BA in English and Philosophy from Colgate University and an MS in Information Technology from Clark University, complemented by an adventurous personal achievement of hiking over 1,000 miles of the Appalachian Trail.
