Christopher Stapels

Christopher Stapels is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical writing, product marketing, and engineering roles. Currently serving as a Help and Self Service Marketing Engineer at MathWorks since January 2017, Christopher generates a global perspective on user support efforts across all products while collaborating with development and marketing teams. Previous roles include Senior Product Marketing Engineer and Senior Technical Writer, focusing on the Internet of Things (IoT) and the ThingSpeak platform. Prior to MathWorks, Christopher held the position of Senior Engineer at CapeSym, Inc., managing research and product development for a unique radiation detector, as well as working as a Scientist at Radiation Monitoring Devices, where responsibilities included solving research problems and securing funding for various projects. Christopher holds an MBA in Business Administration and a PhD in Nuclear Physics from Oregon State University, along with a BS in Physics and Mathematics from Alma College.
