Felix Alvarez

Felix Alvarez is a seasoned software professional with extensive experience in software architecture, development, and team leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Team Lead at The MathWorks since August 2011, Felix manages a team focused on data access and pre-processing user interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional members to define strategic tool directions and tactical release plans. Prior roles include Development Manager/Lead Architect at SANpulse Technologies, where Felix led a product development team specializing in SAN software, and Senior Software Architect at New York University, where design and implementation of research analysis tools were key responsibilities. Felix has held various engineering and leadership positions at esteemed institutions and companies, including Compaq and Digital Equipment Corporation.
