Huaji Wang

Huaji Wang is a Senior Software Program Manager at MathWorks, with a rich background in autonomous driving and engineering project management. Prior to joining MathWorks in June 2021, Huaji held various positions at AVL in the United Kingdom from April 2018 to June 2021, including Autonomous Driving Lead Engineer and Senior ADAS Systems Engineer. Responsibilities included leading a multinational team in the development of SAE Level 4 automated driving functionalities and managing project objectives across operational teams. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering from Jilin University and a PhD from the University of Cambridge, where research focused on automated driving and control algorithms. Previous roles also include a Research Fellow at Cranfield University and a Visiting Researcher at UISEE Technology in Beijing.
