Hualong Yu

Hualong Yu is an experienced professional in the aerospace and defense industry, currently serving as the Manager of the Aero Defense Sales Team at MathWorks since February 2012. Yu also leads the China Pilot Team, focusing on supporting key customers with embedded system design and development. With a background as a Senior Pilot Engineer, Yu possesses expertise in Model-Based Design and Automatic Code Generation, managing significant software projects for major aerospace clients. Prior to MathWorks, Yu held managerial positions at Cotesoft and Samtech, where responsibilities included team-building, product architecture, and project management. Yu's career began at Honeywell as a Software Engineer, contributing to avionics software verification. Hualong Yu holds an MBA from Peking University and advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Beihang University.
