Isaac Rose

Isaac Rose is a Software Engineer at MathWorks, specializing in developing aerospace algorithms and simulation tools for MATLAB Aerospace Toolbox and Simulink Aerospace Blockset since July 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Rotational Engineer, contributing to various projects in software engineering and aerospace applications. Isaac held roles such as Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland’s Advanced Propulsion Research Laboratory and Testing and Actuation Researcher for the Autocycle Research Team. Leadership positions include serving as President of Sigma Phi Delta Fraternity and Executive Chief of Documentation for the Terrapin Rocket Team. Isaac's technical background is further supported by internships at the Federal Aviation Administration, USDA, National Institute of Standards and Technology, and Foursquare Integrated Transportation Planning, focusing on diverse engineering challenges and advancements in machine learning, robotics, and aerospace technologies. Isaac earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland and studied abroad at Universidad Pontificia Comillas.
