Jahnavi Bavuluri is a software engineer currently working at MathWorks since August 2023, having previously interned as a software engineer at Salesforce and Expedia Group. At Salesforce, Jahnavi implemented an automated data pipeline using Apache Airflow and Astronomer. During the internship at Expedia Group, an algorithm was devised to predict customer call wait times, resulting in a more consistent machine learning model compared to current alternatives. Jahnavi has also worked as a full stack developer at Touchbase, where the design of the website and integration of payment and RTC APIs were key contributions. With experience as a machine learning researcher at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, Jahnavi developed over 50 datasets and classified DNA bases with significant accuracy. A student researcher at Rutgers created a smart house prototype recognized at an undergraduate research conference. Jahnavi holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rutgers University and was the high school valedictorian at Franklin High School.
