Karla Armoush is a rising junior at Tufts University, double majoring in Computer Science and Cognitive & Brain Sciences, maintaining a GPA of 3.89. Currently, Karla is a Break Through Tech AI Fellow at MIT and an AI Studio Fellow at MathWorks, where they develop machine learning models and collaborate on projects to address real-world problems. Previously, Karla contributed to the development of AILEM, a language-learning app for refugees, served as Co-Chair of the Peace Council at UWC Atlantic College, and represented Syria in the World Schools Debating Championship. With a strong commitment to community engagement and tech for good, Karla is dedicated to creating human-centered solutions through technology.
