Krishna Akella

Krishna Akella has extensive work experience in software development and engineering. Krishna currently holds the position of Principal Engineer and Senior Team Lead at MathWorks, which they have been in since February 2017. Prior to this, they served as the Manager of Development at 3DPLM Software Solutions Limited - DELMIA from April 2012 to February 2017. Before that, they held multiple roles at Dassault Systemes - DELMIA including Technical Lead of Development from April 2008 to March 2012, Senior Software Engineer from June 2006 to June 2008, and Software Engineer from November 2004 to June 2006.

Krishna Akella completed a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, from 1996 to 2000. Later, from 2000 to 2004, Krishna pursued an MS degree in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science at Oregon State University. In 2009, Krishna attended the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) to receive a Financial Risk Manager certification.
