Marcus Hatfield

Marcus Hatfield has a diverse work experience in corporate development and investment banking. Marcus started their career in 1994 as a Performance Analyst at State Street Research & Management, where they analyzed performance and led quantitative analysis. Marcus then moved on to First Albany Corp, where they worked as an Investment Banker, managing client relationships and deals. In 2003, they joined Pegasystems as a Director of Corporate Development, launching the corporate development effort and executing successful acquisitions. Marcus later became the Vice President of Corporate Development at Pegasystems. In 2011, Marcus joined Rocket Software as the Vice President of Corporate Development and later became the Senior Vice President. Marcus was responsible for developing growth strategies, executing strategic acquisitions, and managing partner relationships. Finally, in 2018, they joined MathWorks as the Vice President of Corporate Development, leading the Corporate Development and Partner Programs teams to drive growth through strategic partnerships, licensing, and acquisitions.

Marcus Hatfield attended SUNY Geneseo from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management Science.
