Mark Burke

Mark Burke is an experienced network professional with over two decades in the field of network engineering and security. Currently serving as a Network Manager at MathWorks since November 2008, Mark has held multiple titles, including Senior Team Leader and Senior Network Engineer, overseeing global network infrastructure, security, and monitoring for the company. Prior to this, Mark worked as a Senior Network Security Engineer at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, focusing on the maintenance and updates of a large domestic Cisco network. Additional experience includes a role as a Sales Engineer at OpenService, where Mark specialized in a Security Event Management tool, as well as serving as a Senior Network Engineer at Proctor and Gamble (Gillette) and Manager of Network and Systems Engineering at Odione Technology Group. Mark holds a degree in Computer Science & Business from Saint Anselm College, earned between 1989 and 1993.
