Mehdi Vahab

Mehdi Vahab is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in mechanical and aerospace engineering, numerical methods, and computational science. Currently serving as a Manager at MathWorks since June 2021, Vahab previously held positions as Research Faculty at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, where significant advancements in fluid-structure interaction and computational code development were made. Teaching experience encompasses undergraduate courses in mathematics and numerical methods at institutions such as Florida A&M University and the Florida State University. Vahab earned a Ph.D. in Applied Science, with a focus on Computational Science and Engineering from the University of California, Davis, following a Master's in Applied Physics from Chalmers University of Technology and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from K. N. Toosi University of Technology.
