Namya Bagree

Namya Bagree is a Software Engineer in Test at MathWorks, specializing in Simulink Custom Code Integration since July 2023. Prior to this role, Namya served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Institute from September 2021 to May 2023, focusing on motion planning and controls for multi-robot systems, achieving over 50% performance improvement with a novel distributed optimal controller implemented in C++. Previous experience includes a position as a Mechanical Graduate Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover and team leadership roles at IIT Bombay Racing, alongside a research and development internship at Bajaj Auto Ltd. Namya holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
