Neil Sinclair is a Wireless Standards Manager and an accomplished wireless software engineer with extensive experience in wireless communication standards, systems, and algorithms. They previously contributed as a DSP Engineer and a Research Assistant at the University of Strathclyde, where they focused on non-invasive sensor technology for disease detection in cattle and machine learning applications in renewable energy. Neil earned a PhD in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, enhancing handover operations using Femtocells within LTE-A. Currently, they serve as a Senior Team Lead at MathWorks, driving projects related to LTE and 5G toolboxes from design to final product release.
