Nitya Jay

Nitya Jay (Siva) is an experienced leader in technical support and engineering development, currently serving as the Manager at MathWorks since October 2017. In this role, Nitya leads a dynamic team of over 75 full-time staff and 80 interns, focusing on strategic objectives and operational excellence. Prior to MathWorks, Nitya held managerial positions at EXFO, overseeing customer and product support teams while ensuring adherence to SLA agreements for critical telecom solutions. Nitya's earlier experience includes roles as a Principal Verification Engineer at Brix Networks, an R&D Engineer at BellSouth International, and an Analyst at the UAB School of Business. Nitya holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bharathiar University.
