Noah Shoer

Noah Shoer is a Compiler Software Engineer in Test at MathWorks since June 2022, where responsibilities include developing and maintaining test cases in MATLAB to verify compiler transformations of MATLAB code and Simulink models into C and C++ code, as well as diagnosing correctness and performance issues in internal IR and generated code. Previously, Noah worked as an Application Support Engineer at MathWorks, implementing a clustering algorithm in MATLAB for production code generation and refactoring test infrastructure. Prior experience includes a Mechanical Engineering Internship at Dyhydromatics, where design work and automation of documentation were performed, and managerial experience at Worcester Polytechnic Institute as a Building Manager. Noah holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering, both from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
