P. J. Boardman

P. J. Boardman serves as the Global Director for STEM Outreach and Workforce Development and the Global Director for Education Marketing at MathWorks since 2013. In these roles, Boardman has successfully led a global Education Marketing team, resulting in consistent growth through strategic initiatives in K-12 and higher education. Boardman has launched new license and program offerings while promoting STEM education through computational thinking, data visualization, and project-based learning with MATLAB and Simulink. Additionally, Boardman is an Executive Board Member and VP of Institutional Councils at the American Society for Engineering Education and an Executive Committee Member of the Global Engineering Deans Council. Previous experience includes significant leadership positions at Cengage Learning and Pearson, achieving substantial revenue growth and overseeing large teams. Boardman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross and a Master’s Degree in Instructional Design from UMass.
