Paul Wildman

Paul Wildman is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and management. Currently serving as Manager of the Engineering Development Group at MathWorks since October 2022, Paul previously held managerial and lead engineering roles at iRobot, including Manager of Mechanical Engineering and Principal Mechanical Engineer - Analysis Lead. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Mechanical Engineer at Amazon Robotics, where high-level analysis for autonomous robotic systems was performed, and a significant tenure at Thoratec as a Mechanical Engineer (Analytical), leading design and development for implantable medical devices. Early in the career, Paul contributed as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Analogic, focusing on mammography machine development, and served as a Stress Analyst at Beacon Power LLC. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both with a focus on Thermofluids/Mechanics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Northeastern University, respectively.
