Res Jöhr

Res Jöhr is a Senior Application Engineer in Academia at MathWorks, a position held since June 2019. Prior to this role, Jöhr served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München, focusing on research in Biomechanics from January 2017 to May 2019. Jöhr's academic journey includes a role as a doctoral candidate at Universität Basel, where responsibilities included experimental physics research, student education, and maintenance of measurement systems from July 2012 to June 2016. Additional experience includes serving as a Milizoffizier in the Schweizer Armee, where Jöhr trained militia soldiers in NBC Defence from October 2006 to July 2007. Jöhr holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Physics from the University of Basel and recently completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Practical Machine Learning from Berner Fachhochschule BFH in October 2023.
