Rob DeSoto

Rob DeSoto is an experienced professional in the fields of engineering and management, with a notable background in both military and corporate environments. Beginning a career as a Calibration Technician and later as Calibration Production Supervisor in the US Navy from August 2004 to August 2007, Rob transitioned to Lockheed Martin, where responsibilities included serving as the Integrated Product Team Lead and managing multiple engineering projects from June 2013 to October 2018. Subsequent roles at Elbit Systems of America from March 2020 to February 2023 included Principal Electrical Engineer and Engineering Manager, where Rob led teams in developing complex systems and championed innovative approaches that significantly reduced design times. Currently, Rob holds the position of Aerospace and Defense Industry Manager at MathWorks while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology at the University of North Texas and having previously earned an MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from The University of Texas at Dallas.
