Rohan Amarapurkar

Rohan Amarapurkar is a Senior UX Researcher at MathWorks, where Rohan has been contributing since July 2019, focusing on mixed-methods research to enhance user-centric design decisions, particularly in the development of generative AI tools. Prior to this role, Rohan completed an internship at MathWorks, developing prototypes for visualizations in MATLAB's Machine Learning Apps. Rohan's experience also includes work as a Student Worker at AMI-USC in medical device development, an R&D internship at Alcon concentrating on computer vision and machine learning algorithms, and internships at Wipro Ltd. and TATA Power, where Rohan developed digital service solutions and researched power quality regulations, respectively. Rohan holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute.
