Simona Sibio

Simona Sibio, Ph.D., is a Senior Quality Engineer at MathWorks since 2022, where they develop and execute software and hardware tests for products such as Wireless HDL, Vision HDL, and DSP HDL. Simona completed an internship as an FPGA Designer at ENEA in 2019, focusing on the implementation of a digital Lock-in Amplifier. Also in 2019, they conducted research for a PhD in Electrical Engineering at Heriot-Watt University, in collaboration with AMD Xilinx, exploring hardware optimizations to enhance 5G ORAN networks. In addition, Simona served as a Postgraduate Researcher, where they implemented load-pull testing of RF circuits using USRPs.
