Siyu Chen

Siyu Chen is a Senior Software Engineer at MathWorks, having started in January 2022, after serving as a Software Engineer in various capacities. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Rutgers University–New Brunswick from September 2015 to December 2021, focusing on human-robot interaction, including dynamics model estimation, prototype design, and software programming. Additionally, Siyu Chen worked as a Machine Learning Research Scientist at Corning Incorporated during the summer of 2021. Siyu Chen holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University–New Brunswick, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
