Spencer Markowitz

Spencer Markowitz is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in algorithm development and radar technology. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at MathWorks since January 2024, Markowitz previously held positions at Gentex Corporation and RadSee as an Algorithm Developer. An academic background includes a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Markowitz has also contributed to research as a Research Assistant at the same university and completed various internships at MITRE, Intel Corporation, L-3, and Alleyne Research Group, focusing on signal classification, Kalman filters, and hardware systems.
