Thomas Henige

Thomas Henige has over 20 years of work experience in the engineering field. Thomas currently holds the position of Principal Application Engineer at MathWorks since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Samsung Research America for 10 years as a Senior Staff Engineer, where they were responsible for the design and hardware implementation of channel coding functions for advanced telecommunications systems. Thomas also has experience in FPGA-based design and prototyping. Before joining Samsung, Thomas worked at Advanced Receiver Technologies as a Senior Staff Engineer for a brief period in 2009. Thomas also worked at Samsung Telecommunications America for four years as a Senior Staff Engineer from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, they have served as an Engineering Consultant/Contractor for various companies from 1999 to 2005 and worked as an Applications Engineer at Mitsumi Electronics from 1994 to 1998.

Thomas Henige has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Texas A&M University. Thomas also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Texas at Dallas.
