Tom Grimble

Tom Grimble is a Senior Application Engineer at MathWorks, where they have been contributing since 2021. They completed a PhD in Aeroacoustics at the University of Cambridge from 2011 to 2015 after earning a Master of Engineering with Distinction in Aerospace Engineering from the same institution. Previously, Tom held various engineering and project management roles at Dyson and served as Design Director for Cambridge University Eco Racing, leading efforts for the 2011 World Solar Challenge entry. Additionally, they were an Honorary Secretary for CUCBC, overseeing intercollegiate rowing administration on the River Cam from 2012 to 2014. Tom started their career as a Summer Placement Student at Dstl in 2006.
