Trenton Squires

Trenton Squires is a Software Engineer at MathWorks since August 2023, following a role as an Engineering Intern at Technische Universität Dresden from June to August 2022, where responsibilities included research on magnetic composites and sensor design. Previously, Trenton worked as a Defense Engineering Intern at Moog Inc. in early 2021, focusing on motion control systems design for defense applications. Academic experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Researcher at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Center for Automation Technologies and Systems, contributing to the development of a Robotic Serging Machine, and internships in mechanical engineering at Packaging Corporation of America and York Exponential, where tasks ranged from maintenance of processing lines to collaborative robotic design. Trenton holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Control Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering, both from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
