Abhinav Kumar

Abhinav Kumar is an accomplished Mechanical Design Engineer with a diverse background in robotics and engineering. Abhinav's career includes positions as a Mechanical Design Engineering Intern and R&D Mechanical Design Engineer at Futuristic Labs, where a cooking robot was developed. Subsequent roles at Octobotics Tech included the creation of a crawling robot and a drone for ship inspections. While at Vimaanas Inc, Abhinav contributed to building multiple RC planes for international competitions. Current endeavors at Matic Robots focus on developing cleaning robots. As a Mechanical Lead and Founder at Step, Abhinav has successfully designed humanoid bi-pedal robots, including one that can walk. Abhinav holds a Bachelor's degree in Production & Industrial Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology and a Master's in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering from New York University.
