Ji Chen

Ji Chen is a software engineer at Matician, specializing in the development of algorithms for path planning, navigation, and control of fully autonomous robots since October 2021. Prior to this role, Ji Chen served as a research assistant at Cornell University from August 2016 to August 2021, focusing on algorithms for task allocation, motion planning, and controls of multi-robot systems. Earlier experience includes an undergraduate research assistant position at Tsinghua University, where Ji Chen worked on high-precision control methods and modern trajectory planning techniques. Ji Chen holds a PhD in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
