Sofía Ugarte

Sofía Ugarte has over 10 years of experience as an Illustrator creating concept, props, background, and characters for animations, TV series, and films, with clients such as Disney, Discovery Kids, and Sony Pictures Television. Sofía has worked with a wide range of styles and techniques, from digital painting to vector illustrations, stylized or realistic, combining their experience as an Illustrator with their Fine Art studies and their background in Graphic Design. Their recent work experience includes working as a Concept Artist and Background Artist for animated short films and TV series for various companies such as Blu Animation Studio, Metrovision Producciones, and Lion Forge Animation. Sofía has also worked as an Illustrator for Disney TV series. Currently, they are working as an Illustrator for Matific.

Sofía Ugarte attended Colegio San Martín de Tours Mujeres with an unknown degree or field of study. Sofía then went on to study at Universidad Nacional de las Artes from 2004 to 2008 and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a field of study in general art and studies. Afterward, they attended La Academia de Animación and obtained a degree in Stop Motion Animator.
