Tal Sofer

Tal Sofer has worked in various roles since 2009. Tal began their career as an Intelligence Analyst for the Israel Defense Forces, where they analyzed field-data to produce real-time, actionable insights. In this role, they dealt with high classified information and stressful situations which required quick and creative thinking. Tal then worked as a Teaching Assistant at The Hebrew University, providing guidance to students, grading assignments and tests. In 2017, Tal Sofer began working at Matific as an Instructional Designer. At Matific, they researched and planned how to teach mathematical concepts and integrated those into games, which included writing full specs and escorting art and development execution from concept to launch.

Tal Sofer received a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Cognitive Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2017. Tal then went on to receive a Teacher's Certificate in Physics Teacher Education from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2018. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Brain Science: Computation and Information Processing from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
