Tom Kidron began their career in 2000 as a Technical Support at Netvision. There, they were responsible for planning, establishing, and manning help-desk centers for the company's business clients. In 2002, they moved to ICQ where they provided technical support for the messenger client, handling issues regarding security, privacy, and identity theft. In 2007, they joined iMesh as a Software QA Engineer, where they were responsible for running manual tests for desktop applications. In 2009, they moved to Music Lab LTD as a Senior QA Engineer, where they wrote and performed manual tests for desktop and web applications, and tested the company's media campaigns platform. In 2017, they joined T-REX Group as a Senior QA Engineer, where they designed, wrote, and executed full E2E tests for the company's enterprise SaaS platform. In 2018, they moved to Beyond Security as a Senior QA Engineer, where they created and ran Postman scripts to test the web application's API, and performed full E2E sanity tests. Tom Kidron is currently a Senior QA Engineer at Matific, where they are responsible for designing and writing detailed test plans, running manual end-to-end tests, and analyzing error messages, stacktrace entries, and logs.
Tom Kidron obtained their BA in Archaeology of Israel and the Ancient Near East from Tel Aviv University between 2002 and 2006. Tom also has several certifications, including Cucumber BDD with Python 3 Behave and Selenium WebDriver from Udemy obtained in December 2020, CS50's Introduction to Computer Science from CS50 obtained in June 2020, OSINT: Open-Source Intelligence from Udemy obtained in March 2020, OSINT: Open-Source Intelligence Level 2 from Udemy obtained in March 2020, and Programming for Everybody (Python) from Coursera obtained in July 2014.
