Liam Stent

Liam Stent has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Liam started their career at Barclays UK in 2010 as a System Integration Engineer, where they focused on delivering solution designs and managing stakeholder expectations. In 2013, they became a Lead Engineer, responsible for delivering pricing and billing projects and owning the strategic roadmap for billing across Personal and Corporate Banking. Liam also took on the role of Splunk Lead Engineer, creating a Splunk Centre of Excellence and rolling out Splunk across Barclays UK's core channels. In 2016, Liam joined Barclays International as an Engineering & Development Manager, overseeing three different platforms and leading a geographically spread team. Liam'sresponsibilities included delivering development, deployment, and testing solutions, defining and implementing an Engineering Transformation roadmap, and utilizing automation tooling and cloud-hosting capabilities. Liam's most recent role is Director of Engineering at Matillion, where they continue to lead and manage engineering teams.

Liam Stent obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from Newcastle University, where they studied from 2007 to 2010.
