Michael Jones has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and technical support. Michael started their career in 2010 as a Field Engineer at Fujitsu UK and Ireland. From 2011 to 2011, they worked at Specsavers IT as Rollout Installation Support, providing remote IT support for a nationwide project. In 2012, they joined Etherlive Limited as a Client Support Engineer, providing technical support to around 400 users. Michael then transitioned to the role of Technical Engineer, where they provided day-to-day client and technical support for the company's network infrastructure.
In 2014, Michael moved to Taylor Made Computer Solutions as an Outsource Engineer, where they worked until 2017. During this time, they gained experience in supporting various IT systems. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Stannah Group as a Full Stack Software Developer, and later as a Senior Full Stack Software Developer. Their role involved developing software solutions and managing full-stack development projects.
Currently, Michael is working at Matillion as a Software Engineer, starting in February 2023.
Michael Jones earned a BSc(Hons) degree in Audio and Music Technology from the University of the West of England, where they studied from 2007 to 2010.
