Ace Castro is a Process Engineer II and SAP Administrator at Mativ since July 2022, previously serving as a Process Engineer, SAP Data Administrator, and Hazardous Waste Management specialist at Scapa Healthcare North America, LLC from June 2014 to May 2018. In this role, Ace collaborated with management and production teams to ensure manufacturability designs, identifying necessary equipment and processes for new and existing products. Responsibilities included project management, timeline development, protocol writing, and conducting performance validations to qualify processes and equipment. Earlier experience includes working as a Student Staff member at the Asian American Cultural Center and as an Engineering Intern for the Town of East Haven, where collaboration with the town engineer facilitated hands-on involvement in engineering projects. Ace holds a Bachelor of Science and Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, completed in 2014.
