Dan Laporte

Dan Laporte is a seasoned professional in the glass and chemical industries, currently serving as Senior Manager of Optical Applications Development at Mativ since January 2025. Prior to this, Dan held the position of Director of Laminating Sciences at McGrory Glass from January 2017 to January 2025. Dan's extensive background includes a role as Technical Service and Applications Development Manager at Eastman Chemical Company, where advisory services were provided to glass fabricators, and prior experience at Solutia Inc. as Marketing and Technical Service Manager, managing support for North American customers. Dan also served as Technical Supervisor at Monsanto Company, leading product development initiatives. Dan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire between 1986 and 1990.
