David Carr

David Carr has a varied work experience in operations, management, and leadership roles. David is currently the Vice President of Operations EMEA (Industrial) at Mativ since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President of Operations (European Labels) at WestRock Company from July 2019 to August 2022. From August 2016 to June 2019, they served as the Operations Director of Marketing Services at Communisis. David was the Managing Director at Americk Packaging from August 2014 to July 2016. Additionally, they held roles such as General Manager at Rosti Group from September 2013 to August 2014, AFEA Supply Chain Best Practice Director, Cluster Operations Director, and Operations Director at Amcor Flexibles from 2007 to 2013. David also worked as the Engineering Manager at Avery Dennison from January 2006 to September 2007, and as an Operations Strategy Consultant at IBM from February 2005 to January 2006. Earlier in their career, they worked at Black & Decker in various roles such as Technical Director, Project Manager - Business Transfer, and New Product Six Sigma Manager from 2001 to 2005.

David Carr attended Northumbria University from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering.
