James Kidwell is an accomplished innovation and business development leader with extensive experience in product development and engineering. They served as the Technology and Innovation Director at Conwed Plastics NV from 2012 to 2016 and held the position of Director of Research & Development at SWM International from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they were the Director of Engineering at both Kwalu Inc. from 1992 to 2008 and AZEK Building Products from 2008 to 2011. Currently, James is the Innovation Leader at Mativ, driving forward-thinking initiatives since 2019. They earned their ND in Plastics Technology with a focus on Plastic Material Science from Cape Peninsula University of Technology between 1987 and 1991.
