Jason Shields

Jason Shields, P.E., is a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in project management and engineering, particularly within the paper industry. They have held various roles, including Project Engineer and Engineering Manager, overseeing significant capital projects such as the $60MM Biron Mill PM26 Phase 2 rebuild and the $11MM Duluth Paper Mill PM1 speed-up project. Currently, Jason is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Mativ, having previously worked at Neenah and Verso Corporation, where they managed multiple projects and improvements in plant operations. They hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and are Lean Six Sigma certified at both Yellow and Green Belt levels.
