Matthew Beard

Matthew Beard is an experienced engineer specializing in manufacturing and biomedical devices. Currently serving as Process Engineer II at Mativ since November 2025, Matthew previously held the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer at DENSO from October 2019 to August 2025. Prior roles include Production Engineer at Aerotek for several months in 2019 and Manufacturing Engineer 1 at Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. from 2011 to November 2018, where responsibilities included coffee roasting, grinding, flavoring, and optimizing manufacturing processes. Matthew began a career in engineering as an Industrial Engineer Co-Op at GMCR in 2011, focusing on equipment optimization and flavor system upgrades. Matthew earned a Master of Industrial Technology (MIT) in Manufacturing from Tennessee Technological University, completing the degree between 1996 and 2011.
