John Matlock

John Matlock, P.E., currently serves as Vice President at Matlock and Associates since February 2015. With a distinguished military background, Matlock holds the rank of Major in the United States Air Force National Guard, having worked as a 17S mission element lead from April 2002 to October 2022. Prior to this, Matlock was a Program Manager at Northrop Grumman Corporation, overseeing a $2 billion program, and has held various project management roles at DynCorp International, including managing complex design-build projects and the development of Camp Alvarado in Kabul. Matlock's early experience includes positions as a Civil Design Engineer and Design Engineer, contributing to construction and facility planning efforts. Educational achievements include a Master of Business Administration in Finance from American University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University.
