Nic Stirk is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in technology and innovation. Currently serving as Co-founder, Investor, and Director at Materials Nexus, a deep-tech start-up focused on AI-enabled materials discovery, Stirk has previously held leadership positions including Chief Executive Officer at Pentiot Ltd, where SMART solutions were developed using advanced telecommunications technologies. Stirk’s background also includes key roles such as Interim Chief Operating Officer at Datalex and Telet Research, as well as foundational leadership at SLA Digital. Educational achievements include an MSc in Data Communications from Brunel University and advanced executive training at Stanford University Graduate School of Business and the Institute of Directors.
